Just watched this interview and it was amazing and very interesting. Khabib is a down to earth guy who appreciates everything in life and regardless of what he has achieved his feet are firmly on the ground. Still offering his views without disrespecting any one with words.
Khabib an all time legend, so glad he's still about even after retiring. Props to Mustafa also, very unexpected but I see how it makes sense. Great artist.
@Got Yoû MàḎ? her boy lol khabib spending time with his mom and family making more money your parents or grandparents ever seen in their lives just by sitting on his ass. So stfu goofy
this man has his head screwed on right. fighting can build character, but having the maturity to become a great man after that is another level. khabib is making all the right moves.
When Khabib retired I was sad because I wanted him to fight Tony F. and Charles O. but after the Islam Makachev fight against Charles, I realized how wrong I was Khabib would have submitted them in first round. All the Khabib haters try and find one fight where Khabib was bruised or bleeding. If you cannot fight like Khabib at least try be humble like him.
When you retired when your young it looks like you are hiding from a loss that could make you the same as all the other guys. Retiring old and undefeated is the polar opposite
Give this man the respect he deserves because he earned it. He’s a unicorn in a sport full of pure bred horses. You know as well as me nobody was even coming to close to beating him at LW. Best lightweight ever. Defeated most champs An has longest win streak in LW history. And made it look easy. Haters try to degrade him like they did Islam before the Charles fight but anyone with objective eyes can see who’s the best because it’s not even close. An these guys destroyed the myth that all wrestlers are boring. They are all action An finishes. Some lay and pray. They calculate and destroy. Khabib will even jump the cage after to smack shit talking fighters like Dillon Danis if he has to. Nothing boring about it.
"You know as well as me nobody was even coming to close to beating him at LW" Islam beat him several rounds, what are you talking about? His own teammate is the one who comes close, and if Conor was at his true prime, maybe he could give Khabib some trouble. He got dominated by Khabib, but he is the 1st guy on the feet, pure striking, to actually outclass khabib for 1 round, I saw it...defenitely at his worst too. Now we will never know, but I still want Khabib to solidify his greatest ever status, not just LW, ever.
@BACON KING ROBLOX why would you rematch a fighter you completely dominated?? He even called Nate out that weed smoking drugy would have got beaten the fuck up! That bum is lucky Khamzat didn't fight him because he would have fucked him up too!
@BACON KING ROBLOX Your boy got finished by Dustin. He does not even fight. He needs to stop drugs, roids and alcohol. 🤣🤣 I like Nate. But the has braindamage. Happy he retired.
What a true champion and example for all athletes. Used to be a Conor fan but after UFC 229 researched a lot about this man, his dad, Dagestan and the brotherhood. There will never be another GOAT like Khabib in MMA.
@Prison Mike Hahaha please NO!! My brain will melt into a slush hearing this man drool over Islam and father plan. That is about the most extent of his communication skills in english, why does no one understand the xenophobic Khabib and their entire crew. They all hate anyone that isn't Russian and for that they are trash.
The man who came from the mountains of Dagestan and became UFC lightweight champ without losing round or even a bruss on his face, clearly the best fighter ever Khabib the Eagle 🦅 Nurmagomedov!!
@Jasper AG Brother common, this is real shit talking. I would suggest you try wrestling for one continuous round,m sure you would find yourself gasping. This guy was legit champion, improved himself over the journey and made it look easy... Put some respect on his name! ✨
The greatness of this man is something else. I’m so glad to be able to follow his journey, and I’m so excited to continue to follow his journey as a coach, as a businessman, and as an incredible human
Most UFC fans admire Khabib, his respect for his parents, his discipline. Most people would not be able to live the life that Khabib lived. Most people don't have a relationship with their parents. Most people don't have the will and the desire to live a disciplined life. This even includes people like Conor McGregor. Conor McGregor would never duplicate khabibs training program.
Most difficult period to be seen as a role model is when your on top of the word like this man Is. Imagine the pressure on him as he knows the world eyes are on him and especially the haters waiting to pounce on even a single step out of line for khabib who is only human after all.
Even bigger champions listen his words, he's that great.. What a rare human he is.. he is teaching all the right things to this young generation, May God continue to bless him, Ameen.
Belal said it too, it's really hard to be coached by Khabib, like the training is really tiring and hard, Khabib has unlimited cardio, remember when the brothers said Khabib is "crazy" lol
His views on guns is something that I respect a lot growing up we solved problems with our fists after we move on sure their could have been a better way but guns end lives and I hate to see it in my life and others life is a blessing
Khabib said that you can have kids or whatever other relationships and there’s nobody that is more important than a mother. I couldn’t agree more. My mom is everything to me. God bless everybody that has relationships with their parents and if you don’t currently have a relationship, i wish you can while they're here. 🙏🙏🙏
There's something intrinsically deeper in what he said. " You can buy any video game but you can't buy time " or you can as many as you want, but the time to enjoy them all is unfeasible. He can't give 100% of himself to do the conditioning and training and fighting or even to go through the mental part of fighting, and at the same time give 100% of his time to those around him especially those he's helping. Those that can't relate wouldn't know because it takes stepping back and seeing things from another's point of view and perspective sometimes to understand.
Such an honourable man worthy of every laud every respect and esteem A most uncommon man Tall he stands among commons A paragon of humility, Of modesty and what it really means to be a true believer In sportsmanship unmatched he dwells and whomever does see him, instantly does like and respect him. A one of kind Lad Whom I pray Allah Bless and of all wrongs shield him and upon his foes make him prevail! How cannot one marvel at such great guys having around!
How can anyone not like Khabib!!??? Awesome Human!! Never been beat! I don't think he's ever been knocked down, I don't think he's even bled in the cage!!?? Craziness!! Best ever!! 👍👍
@Ryan UFC As I said he fought tomato-cans and cherry picked weak opponents, "won" his title from an unranked scrub. Only 3 defenses against strikers (two of which time revealed were not championship caliber). Compared to Mighty Mouse, GSP, Jon Jones, Jose Aldo, Anderson Silva, Kamaru Usman, Matt Hughes etc.. his resume and championship reign are lackluster.
@Predition771 Yet all those journeymen were stronger than any of his UFC opponents. All his opponents looked weak. Because he made them lose. Because not one of them could put a mark on Khabib. All you bozos said Conor was gonna knock him out. Didn’t even come close to happening. You morons said Dustin would knock him out. Didn’t happen. All you guys said Gaethje would knock him out. Justin tried so hard, but failed. Khabib just put him to sleep. You guys said RDA would beat him. Didn’t happen. Khabib has proven you wrong every time and now you are mad in these comment section ranting away became you were wrong. You need to get a life man. You were always wrong and still wrong. Learn to fix your failures. Improve your negative energy. You should be mad at all of Khabibs opponents. Because they all let you down. Not one of them could beat khabjb. Not one could put a mark on him. His opponents all failed.
@Ryan UFC Nope, I just thinking padding his record with journeymen and tomato-cans makes him very overrated. Furthermore he "won" his title from an unranked real estate agent, not to mention his 3 title defenses were all against strikers, two of which turned out not to be championship caliber fighters anyway. Compared to all the other fighters in GOAT contention his resume and championship run does not stack up.
@Predition771He’s undefeated without a mark on him. That’s unheard of. He’s got the best defense in mma. It’s not even debatable. But you want to see bloodbaths between fighters. Khabib is not that type of fighter. He wants to finish his opponents.
Me with alcohol and video game problems, Khabib is the role model I don't have but need. I have so much pain inside because of those two things I needed to hear this
@Danny Al We as muslims believe that all conditions come from Allah. Health, sickness, wealth, poverty, good times, bad times every single aspect has been written and ordained by Allah in a perfect system. It's just that we as humans see a small part of that massive system and it's too much for us too really understand. I too have had my share of addictions and self destructive behaviors. My consoloation is that Allah is most forgiving and no matter what I do, if I sincerely ask for forgiveness I will be forgiven on the conditions that I have not transgressed the rights of another human being or living creature without any attempt of reconciliation. A test from Allah brings you closer to him while a punishment from Allah will keep you far away from him. We have to be the change we want to see!!
If Khabib's words are resonating with you, it's because of his religious and moral belief system. I too share that same system, total reliance in Allah and his plan for me, not as flashy or as strong as Habib(actually the correct pronounciation and spelling of his name), different challenges and obstacles but with a purpose. If you can find that purpose you won't need the drinks, drugs(blanket generalization not referring to you so please don't take offense) or video games to pass the time. I promise find the purpose and you will find yourself
brother, ive dealt with opiod addictionn for about 6 years and it has ruined me among many other things, i didnt have such an easy life. I feel the exact same about khabib, I only wish I ever had a role model like him. some of us dont get that though. Also people keep saying islam is the answer and i agree but when dealing with addiction its a test that Allah may leave you alone to face. This is what i have noticed
I love that Khabib was talking about humility like it was common sense when Mcgregor at the exact same time was in Dubai or Abu Dhabi shit faced walking around with his old belt 😂😂😂
This was beautiful. We love you so much Khabib and we are grateful to God-Allah for you. Also great job interviewing by the youngster. He gave Khabib time to speak, he kept humor & stayed calm inspite his excitement❣️🙏✌️ Also great audience Canada!
Wow man i already like you before the interview but now i got nothing but respect, no wonder I never liked the clowns that talks trash all the time you're the real human being i will like to achieve one day
Best sportsman interview I've ever seen in my life. Best interview I've ever seen in my life. What a guy. Great job Mustafa too, fantastic questions, amazing answers. Wow. Khabib brings wisdom, wit, humor, insight, everything. Even throws in the classic "Send me location". I assume politics was 100% off limits, no question about how he could forsee how to end the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
It was truly amazing attending this event it was truly inspiring listing to this fucking savage of a eagle and the others khabib was born to be a Legend ❤
Я горжусь тобой, хотя на Западе ты не нравишься из-за твоего мусульманского и русского происхождения, будь сам хабибом, кого волнует, что ты не нравишься на Западе, ты вошел в историю, ты заставил нас гордиться.
Both defined a part humble and I will finish it: Humble: is the only characteristic that you can't give yourself because if you do you aren't humble. Thumbs up for the great interview and the interviewer, this dude had the perfect balance between a fanboy and professional.
Why Do I think Khabib is humble? He is the greatest LW, one of the richest athletes! But e never acts like he is superior to others and tries to give respect to the people! Where fame makes people think that they are superior to others and they can do whatever they want! They can trash normal people even whoop them take a fight or bad mouth others. Khabib is one of the exceptions
Loved everything about this interview except the actual person doing it.. Guy couldn't stop touching his face while Khabib was speaking AND couldn't formulate a solid question. "You know" .. Man you're talking to the goat you should have all your questions should be ready off the rip and you should be able to listen to him speak without needing to touch your face.
