WI v. DAHMER (1992): Tracy Edwards, who escaped from Jeffrey Dahmer, takes the stand.
A new Netflix documentary "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" explores the gruesome story of Jeffrey Dahmer. Court TV cameras were inside the Wisconsin courtroom in 1992, where a jury was tasked to decide whether Dahmer, who pleaded guilty to the murders and dismemberment of 15 boys and men, should be sentenced to life in prison or admitted to a mental institution.

Tracys demeanor shows an intelligent man who exhibits telling signs of PTSD. The fact that he turned to drugs, became homeless, turned to crime whereas he was not like this before he had to fight Dahmer off. The attorneys & Netflix could do something to help this man. He's a hero who saved many people from future horrors.

What I also find so disturbing about Dahmer is how he looks so different in every clip I see him. And the way Tracy describes he looks like a totally different man when they got back to the apartment - as if his facial structure changed. He was a man clearly possessed by some serious evil.

Jesus Christ….my heart is breaking for this poor man. Watching and hearing the pain and trauma in his voice and on his face while this lawyer is pummelling him with one insensitive question after the next is truly leaving me speechless. You can almost feel his heart beating out of his chest having to relive this trauma with his almost killer sitting just feet away. Brave doesn’t even begin to describe him. What a hero.

@L0S3R W1NN3R It is absolutely traumatic, and as a witness you can also not testify if you don't want to. But most of these people who are victims understand what they will be put through and that they will have to relive these moments in court. But the prosecutor did a good job at actually making his testimony very short and to the point. I think the victim here should be compensated by Netflix not for using his likeness but more so out of respect to him and the trauma he went through. Though to be fair it is unknown whether he is even alive at this point, he also went to prison for murder in 2011. There is no situation where the victim does not suffer from trauma. But also stop trying to act like the lawyer is a bad person for what they are doing, its their job, its traumatic, its traumatic for the lawyer to hear, its traumatic for the jury to hear. But this is how the court system works and now adays there is more systems in place to help the victims and support them through the trauma.

@Zach so civil rights is not political? Is your brain 🧠 functioning??? You brought politics into this once you summoned civil rights on the law suit matter.... I don't really care about being a republican or liberal, all I'm saying is that liberals cry too much like you, so you must be one.. how does this prove that I don't know the law???? See you are delusional making up things... SUCH a liberal 😂... I'm calling that law suit remark of yours petty that's all, you are stating I don't know law. 🤣🤣, you're a joke... pay attention to your statements son... it was all opinions between me and you up until you brought politics in the matter about violations of rights ect. With law suits and you then acted like a liberal twisting the truth saying i brought up politics??? Again like I said you are a LIBERAL VICTIMIZING YOURSELF
Zach Ай бұрын
@jeffrey munoz I think your problem (on a personal base) is that you’re consumed by bias political propaganda as YOU brought politics into the mix. None of this was political. If anything Nixon (a Republican) signed into office two of the clauses the prosecution violated it their line of questioning in 2007. Damn trump riled you lot lol. A bunch of fanatical “nationalists” who don’t even know the law but call it “sensitive,” now that’s a new one.

This guy’s testimony is by far the most important. He SURVIVED Dahmer, led to his arrest, and most importantly, he spent 15 to 30 minutes with Dahmer while he was at his most dangerous apparently showing behavioral traits that virtually nobody (who was alive) might’ve seen before or after.

Almost being close to being one of Dahmer's victims and Dahmer killed 17 people if he didn't survive it would have been 18 people and Dahmer would have just gone on killing and nobody would suspect a thing. Tracy Edwards got away from Dahmer and then had to testify in court and see him again... I don't know many people would could do that! My heart would have jumped out of my chest at that point*** Dahmer ended up in prison and he died in Prison and someone killed him.

If it is the truth it doesn’t mean he deserves to be raped, drilled and cut up by a serial killer who ALSO raped two minors does it? By the sounds of your comment it seems like it does. This man was a HERO and I’ll shout it if I have to. This man cheated death and certainly did not deserve this to happen to him. I’ve noticed you’ve said the same thing to people about this so called incident to multiple accounts on this post. If it bothers you that much take it to the newspapers and take your debate and quizzes else where, have a lovely day!

Tracy Edwards is not a hero, he sexually assaulted a 14 year old girl BEFORE this happened (so not even to say that his tendencies to prey on minors were caused by this incident). Better not to glorify a sexual predator.

This guy is a freaking hero. It’s amazing how specifically he remembers all the details, and almost illustrates that Dahmer had some sort of dissociative/split personality. It’s too bad they cremated him and couldn’t study his brain.

@YouIn24Years First of all, back when he was committing the crimes he was society and culture was different, the way people behaved and how people trusted each other was much different. Not to mention as literally stated by a VICTIM in this video, that Jeff was a very unassuming and seemingly normal man, and I am sure Jeff was very good at manipulation as well and possessed the ability to coax people into situations that they may not normally put themselves into such as going alone to his apartment to do anything. Also a lot of men are confident in themselves being able to defend themselves in a situation such as this one, and most men don't think about the fact that they can be a victim of a crime such as this just as a women can. It is more likely that a women is abducted when she is alone in a parking than it is for a man, but the point being that it can happen, but most men don't really worry about it because typically men are again, confident they can defend themselves. But you should not be blaming the victims in this situation. seriously, think about what you said "I'm not trying to be messed up here" but you clearly understood what you were saying was wrong.... dude come on

@FROM OUTTA LEFT FIELD this is someone's son. Someone's brother. Someone you yourself may have even called Friend, had your lives crossed in both place and time. Consider just how easily -- it could've(& possibly could still yet be?) been YOUR SON. YOUR BROTHER. ...someone you've called friend. Time and distance creates a buffer that has made it too easy for some young ppl today to make light of such darkness. Exposing themselves as someone who have never (and hopefully will never have to) experience the unfathomable hurt and forever loss that the actual, very real and still living breathing families and friends of this persons' victims still carry with them every single day. Today still. Tomorrow still. And yes still, the next day and so on... May you find it possible to find the desire within yourself to never want to cause any of said person's any more useless and unwarranted additional hurt. Hurt that is not just being from this person's hands, but now also your words. Be kind. Stay humble. Love as you too want to be loved.

I’ve met many black guys, the best looking ones are always open minded, basically bi especially for any cash or alcohol. I’ve met plenty over the years. But they tell the world they are straight. But one on one is a different story. I’m gay and DL black men are what I approach. He went to the apartment to pose nude, straight men don’t let other men take nude pics.
